We decided to start a Daycare because of our grandchildren. They needed a place to go where we knew they would be taken care of. What better place than with us? That’s when it all began in September of 2016. We opened our doors to not only our grandchildren but to any child that needed a safe space and home away from home. 1,2 Buckle My Shoe is an excellent daycare! The staff is amazing and very responsive to any questions, concerns, or needs. They were very patient in allowing my child to adjust to the new environment when he first began. I know that he is in wonderful hands each day.
We love this daycare. They always responded to anything we needed, very accommodating, took excellent care of my kids. As a first time mom I was so nervous sending my kids to a daycare but they made us feel very welcome and made me feel like my kids were safe and in great hands. Can not recommend them enough!!
I switched my first child to 1,2 buckle my shoe after having a rough experience with another daycare in AVP and he absolutely loved it. He started school this year but still begs to go back. I had my daughter in January of last year and she is there now. Mrs. Renee and Ms. Kathy are AMAZING and are available to help with whatever I need, even after hours. We were having a bad daycare experience previously so I started my research and decided to make the call to 1 2 Buckle my Shoe. I toured the daycare and after meeting the director Mrs. Renee I instantly knew this was the place for my toddler. Through the years I watched him learn so much. He learned letters, ABC’s, shapes, colors, and so much more. There were minor incidents because of the age group. I was immediately notified about everything. This daycare is by far one of the best in the Parish! The staff is amazing! I am contacted with everything concerning my children, my kids love thier teachers and classmates, and they are always singing new songs when I pick them up. I could not ask for a better place for my children to be. Thank you for all y'all do!
