I will lead with this is a beautiful, quiet, dog-friendly building with great neighbours and unbeatable river views. Proximity to walking trails, Metronorth and Untermeyer Garden also make this a great place to live. However, for a luxury building there are some glaring gaps and standards could be higher which is why I rate it a solid 3.5. The property has many lovely apt layouts but there is no concierge and HVAC is building wide instead of unit specific (meaning sometimes you have AC when you’’d rather have heat). The three years my wife and I rented in this building exceeded our expectations in every way. The building staff, super and management office were exceptional. The location and amenities, as well as the community of neighbors, made this a truly excellent place to live. The proximity to river, train and Aquaduct Trail made for a perfect trifecta. And the dog friendly nature of the residents and the surrounding community speak volumes for the quality of life.
It goes without saying that 1177 Greystone is a clean, beautiful and well kept property. The water views are spectacular from the units that have a Hudson River view. And the building is kept in pristine condition. However, what was more of value to us was the kindness of Michelle Morabito who helped us with our lease from beginning to end, and Michael the superintendent of the building. Michelle and Michael were always available at any time. I recommend their work.
Apartment hunting and came across this building. Luxary style apartments with valet parking and lounge in the entrance. Views of the water with outdoor balconies. East access to the metro North train station and bus right out front. Very very nice building indeed with work out room and parking. You must make 3 times the market rate of the apartment for example if apartment is 1000 a month you must bring in 3000 a month income. There are apartments for rent and also to buy. 1177 Warburton is a beautiful place to live. The building is kept spotless in all areas. The staff is amazing but especially Michelle, leasing manager, and Michael, the superintendent. They were extremely helpful and made living at 1177 an excellent experience.
