When I see Dr. Baerman, my anxiety eases and I feel safe. Her competency and knowledge help me know where I stand. Her clear and practical communication show that she hears me and understands me. Her advice and encouragement are invaluable. I am grateful to have found her.In addition, the office is well-run and the techs and nurses are kind and respectful.
Dr. Baeman was very professional, yet so kind and explained everything I needed so well. My surgery was two weeks ago and I am healing well. She took such good care of me. I drove three hours to see her because I trusted her expertise and appreciate a doctor who genuinely cares. I hope I don’t need any other surgery needs, but if I do, I will be seeing her!

Great bedside manner and she listens to you.
I had surgery with her to repair an enlarging hernia in my left groin. Her assistant, Ronnie, is great and attentive. Getting my surgery scheduled was so easy and loved how well I was cared for at NC Surgical Hospital. Dr. Baerman connects with you well, very conversational and puts you at ease. I’m a Physician Assistant but she didn’t take that for granted and took the time to explain any questions that I had well to help manage my understanding of the procedure and more of what to expect. I was treated with resect, kindness and she is straight forward and tells you like it is but very kindly! I really like her.
This was my first visit to this office. Sophia greeted me and checked me in. Ronnie brought me to an exam room and helped me complete a chart and answered some of my questions. Dr Baerman put me at ease. She asked me and I gave her my history and reason for the visit. She examined me and then explained the surgery she'd perform and the recovery involved. Everyone made me feel comfortable and confident that I was in right place with the right doctor and they would look after me. Thank you very much. Roy H.
