My mom is currently in there and my dad's and they have a hard time getting showers coming up and off the toilet give me anybody to help them there's only a few nurses there that are actually worth something if I could afford to move my mom somewhere else and my dad I've definitely would every time I walk in there it smells like feces and really bad strong smelling. This is an older building and the wear and tear is visible, but it is kept spotlessly clean. The nurses, aides, and therapists were all great. The residents seem happy and were often to be found chatting and laughing with the staff at the nurses' desk. This is, by far, the most cheerful and friendliest medical facility I've ever visited. Dad even liked the food! The only negative experience we had was with the discharge planning - he was sent home with no durable medical equipment in place and no in-home care scheduled.
Upon entering building, you will see an old building with updates needed (that are slowly being done), but the important thing to know is the care given by the nurses and aides. I call my group "The Dream Team". They keep me informed about issues my loved one may have and I trust their care when I can't be there. They give me the peace of mind I need while my loved one is in a nursing home.
My mother recently stayed here. I was very pleased with the care she received. I highly recommend Barberton Post Acute!
Do not know where to start, but I absolutely love this place. My uncle has been here for a few months and they have gone over and beyond the care for him and helping him get back to the best him as possible. Without the wonderful nursing staff there he would not be alive today Words cannot begin the absolute gratitude that I have for the people who worked on him.
