My grandfather spent 3 weeks here post surgery. Staff was delightful to work with, professional, courteous, and very helpful. The whole onboarding process was a breeze, thanks to the wonderful admissions coordinator. Both the nurses and nurses assistants were top notch to work with, my grandfather said he felt like he was on vacation. Overall cleanliness and tidiness was up to par across the board. I would absolutely recommend a friend or other family member to this facility!
My dad was placed here after the hospital for physical therapy and recover from his hip surgery. He was at ridgeway for about a month. The nurses that worked with my father were very nice to me and reassuring through one of the hardest times of my life. I would like to special mention Brenda who seemed always available to talk even after hours. She picked up all my phone calls in the late evening and helped. MONIKA ZACHAREWICZ Director of Rehab and Brenda Tomis Head Nurse together with her team of nurses have performed way beyond my expectations with my 97-year-old mother recovery after a very critical health condition. She arrived the same day the doctor removed her feeding tubes after three months in-out of intensive care. The patience and the daily program of Ridgeway therapists, nurses and staff under the direction of Brenda have contribute 90% of her recovery. Place is older but kept VERY clean. Staff is friendly, attentive, knowledgeable. Nurses very willing to talk to me, answer my concerns-made time to listen, look up meds, orders, helped me talk to docs in person. I only ate 2 meals- very good and attractively presented; able to talk to kitchen staff re diabetes diet. I'm a caregiver, having several clients in SNF. Ridgeway is great! I recommend. I recently had my dad discharged from here and I want to honestly say the staff and the care exceeded far beyond my expectations. After reading some reviews I was extremely hesitant keeping my dad here specially since I've experienced other SNF facilities and their lack of communication with me in the midst of transitioning my dad up here with me in Petaluma but this facility has gone above and beyond for us, I am extremely grateful. We went to visit my husbands best friend at Ridgeway Post Acute Care and were utterly shocked at the conditions of the facility. We left there with such a heavy heart. To know that our dear friend is living in these conditions is beyond our comprehension. I would avoid this facility as an option if possible when considering the difficulty of having to put a loved one there. I can't comment too much on the staff.
