Took exceptionional care of my mom when she was placed here. The staff was caring, respectful and considerate of her wants n needs. My mom enjoyed visiting with the staff and especially liked the people in charge of her physical/occupational therapy

My stay was in 2025 from June to October in the acute care unit of the facility. I received very good wound care for my amputated leg by conscientious, professional nurses (mostly Nicole, Joshua, Carrie & Serge ...), the CNAs (mostly Kelly, Adriana, Trinity), the shower aids, my RCM Alicia and the therapists. I was placed here after breaking my hip + wrist and I loved all my nurses! The people really care about you and they show it. Although it would take 30 or so minutes for a nurse to assist me, they were very apologetic about it and let me know why they had taken so long. If there was a nurse I didnt like, they would listen to me and they wouldnt put that nurse on my schedule. Overall, a beautifully owned business.
I will ammend this if things improve. It's Tuesday. My home care patient went to Lacamas for physical therapy and to recover from an ulcer. She's been there 5 days and hasn't been evaluated! They haven't started PT yet. And, here's the clicker, they fed her PUREED food! I've been down there almost daily. Today, day 5, they've FINALLY read the fax from the hospital. Her breakfast was still pureed. Unacceptable. Do not send your loved ones here, unless you want them warehoused and forced to eat glop.
Lacunas Creek Post Acute (formerly Prestige Care) sent one of their vans to Peace Health Medical Center in Vancouver to transport my mother to their facility after she had gallbladder surgery. On the way to the nursing home, the driver aggressively slammed on the brakes, and caused by mom to go flying forward while still strapped into her wheelchair.
