Just got a bill from Peters Township Post Acute. Today is January 31 2026 but, the statement on the bill is dated January 20, 2026. Apparently, Post Acute is attempting to extort more money from me. Lat year, I had to pay over $8,000 just to get my mom discharged but now, they sent me a bill for an additional $3,000 and without telling me why.

My mom wass here because she broke her hip. When I went to see her, the staff was able to print out two forms for VA Aid and Assistance since my dad was a veteran. Shortly after returning home, I got a call saying that my mom's final stay will be Friday. After that, any additional days that she stays I have to pay out of pocket. Maybe they didn't know or didn't care but, with my mom being at Post Acute, I had to pay all of the bills.
