Ordered here tonight specifically asked for my burger to be well done-no pink, receipt reflects as much. Some people may not care if their meat has pink in it, I’ve had food poisoning enough times from improperly cooked meat that I’m not chancing it. In addition to this the order of strawberries I ordered were going bad and brown and slimy. First bad experience with them outside of this but have lost my faith in their ability to serve as ordered.
I ordered a HUGE order tonight for my family visiting from out of town, $98 to be exact. When we got home and we all started eating, one of the meals (adult Mac n cheese) had strands of black hair through the bottom of it, and my potatoes with my chicken fried chicken had light colored hair through them. I took pictures to prove this. I went back up to the restaurant, pajamas and all, to get a refund since NOBODY would trust their very expensive meals after two of us found hair in ours! Our experience at 54th street Zona Rosa began wonderfully. Our server Ross P. was extremely attentive and made sure we always had what we needed. There was a minor miscommunication regarding the drinks on the Happy Hour menu. Ross was quick to provide a solution and brought manager Andrew to our table. Unfortunately Andrew was rather frustrated and quite rude. He did apologize and deflected blame towards Ross. However the entire encounter was unprofessional. Haven't been to the Zona location since late 2017/early 2018 when my chicken came out frozen. The manager swore up and down multiple times that everything they brought in was fresh and that I was wrong, yet today I learned from a waitress that their food is indeed frozen. I will forever stand behind my decision to never eat at the Zona location. The service at the other locations are much better anyway.
