Cheese Burger Sliders Were Horrible!!!...Matter of Fact I got Sick after Eating Them...I Will stick to The Country Fried Steak Whenever I Go To 54th Street Grill...Feeling Disappointed�
I have been going to 54 since the very first day it opened in Wentzville. But the past couple of years it hasn't gone down hill drastically. The food is not as good as it use to be, the management is really not as good as it use to be. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. I remember when Mike and Jack were managers and that place was spotless and the food was delicious. There are too many other restaurants in WENTZVILLE that are a lot better and a lot cleaner.
Did not tell us that they were out of filets until the rest of the table already had our food, including another filet at the table. We then proceeded to wait 15 minutes after he ordered the new steak while watching other steaks come out... How did they not notice that they were out of filets while putting the tables other filet on there? Absolutely no communication between kitchen and staff. He got his steak after the rest of the table was done eating.
I would have given the one in Wentzville, Mo an ok but the men' restroom was filthy with archaic fixtures. Two old style floor mounted urinals, one broken and a urine soaked floor in front of the on in operation. No, no touch soap, faucet and paper towel dispensor all covered in a sticky film. If this is where employees must clean up I wonder about the safety of the food that they handle not to mention the filth they undoubtsbly spread around the place on their feet from the restroom floor.
The food was nasty and service sucked after waiting for a hour to be seated
We tried to get a party of 11 seated for a family dinner and were told the wait would be an hour to an hour and a half. So we went ahead and put our party in but also told the hostess we'd be happy with two separate tables that were near each other, if they were available, to give them some flexibility in seating us.
