Bought 6 different sushi rolls, 6-piece pork hash, and a mango tapioca pudding for a total of $32.48. This would cost probably $70-100 at a sushi restaurant. The sushi tastes almost as good as the restaurant for a third of the price. The pork hash is also tasty. The mango tapioca is a little too sweet, so it's not as good as the coconut tapioca. The store was clean. There are a variety of hot foods and refrigerated food that you can eat right away or some that you need to microwave a couple of minutes.
On May 25th of 2024 around 3am, I walked in to get gas. I told the sale associate if I can put $20 on a pump number and I asked if I can use my kamaaina number. He stared at me waiting for who knows what, but I guess when I looked down all he did was put in the payment amount. I asked again about the kamaaina reward and he said “I only heard phone number” so then I figured I was too soft about since when I told him that I did say it, he got a little offensive with me. We tried to buy 2 weekly pass holo cards but then when we checked, one wasn't loaded. When we went back to the store, the same cashier just pulls out a random third card and was like 'gave you the wrong one'. Uhh...what? If you're buying loaded holo cards, make sure you check on the holo card website that your cards are loaded before you leave the store.
Rude staff but it's in a bad part of town so maybe it's just a product of its environment. Homeless encampment outside. It was a nice inside as a 7-Eleven with a few exclusive things and a couple Japanese things, but I expected more.
We loaded our 2 HOLO cards for the bus but they loaded only one. They had a trouble with the charger machine but they said that both were loaded. They were nice and we were patience , but the owner needs to fix the machine.
