Terrible Noise Insulation, but Convenient Location This building is at a really convenient location: close to Trader Joe's, Target, and several restaurants. Noise from traffic on Masonic is not too bad. However, it's a really old building, and noise insulation between floors and units is non-existent. If there a family with kids above you, it's going to be a pandemonium, and the property management is not going to do anything about it. The lease requires 80% of the floors to be covered, but I doubt that's enforced.
