Our family’s experience with this program was deeply disappointing and concerning. From the beginning, my nephew’s parents were told that their insurance would cover most of the cost, that they would only be responsible for approximately $10 per day, and that services would be reevaluated after six months due to an insurance hour cap. They have been great. My daughter is really improving on so many levels I thought impossible. Her technician has been so good with her and the therapist in charge was very helpful in keeping me informed.
I am writing this review to express my deep concerns regarding the experiences my daughter has had at ABS Kids Layton Center over the past couple of years. Initially, we were satisfied with the services provided, but recent developments have caused significant distress. My daughter has been struggling with recurrent ear infections, which understandably resulted in missed therapy sessions. This company has been so frustrating to deal with. The initial diagnosing process was fine, but the lack of flexibility or accountability from this company is frustrating. After fighting to even get my questions answered they informed me that in order to provide my son services we needed to commit to 30-40 hours a week. At 4 years old. Who cares about school or parents who work. When I brought up this concern I was made to feel like I don't care about my son or his needs.
The staff have been absolutely incredible. So thankful for Denise, Lexie, and Aleeah. They have made such a difference for my son and for our family. ABS kids has been so great to work with-prompt responses, organized, communicative, educated, and caring.
