After spending over 4–5 long hours at the airport dealing with issues from another rental company, I called Ace Rentals — and they immediately helped me out! They quickly set me up with a last-minute reservation at a very affordable price. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. I’m very satisfied with their service and will definitely rent another vehicle from them in the future!
Stay away at all costs. I got a 250$ cleaning fee from the Schiller park location. The first photo is dried snow considering it had snowed about an inch. Not sure how they think it’s possible to not have snow in the car in Chicago in winter. Absolutely ridiculous. Never using this company again.
Stay Away from This Company I rented a car from Ace Rental Cars Chicago for less than two days. When I returned it, an employee suddenly claimed there was a rock chip on the windshield. That was the only “issue” mentioned at the time, and I immediately took photos showing the windshield was perfectly fine. I had many questions following my past experience renting from Routes. The Ace agent answered my questions, found answers to some if he was unsure, and reassured me where it was notated in the agreement. I left in a clean & comfortable ride, feeling well informed and prepared for a surprise-free experience. Thank you Ace!
The absolute worst service I have had ever at any car rental service ever. I was annoyed that I had to provide my car insurance information. I sincerely apologized for being frustrated. That wasn’t good enough. So I sat down found my policy. Once I found it they left the desk as to teach me a lesson. I have been waiting 30 minutes no one will come back. And wait on me.
