I rented a van from this company for a weekend to help a friend move. The reservation was made for me by the friend. I was never emailed, shown, or asked to sign a contract, and no cleaning or pet policies were explained at pickup. The van was high-mileage and already somewhat beat up, which I didn’t mind since I was only using it for a basic move. I returned the vehicle without any issues. Do not use this place they will charge you extra fees for no reason. We went to the car for four days and I’m upon returning it. We were charged an additional $109 for “mold”. MOLD!?!? after four days???? when we pointed it out, they changed their story and said we left the car filthy. We never even removed the paper floor mats to avoid tracking and dirt. ACE Rent a Car was amazing! Great service, nice car! Super helpful when I was in a pinch! My flight was canceled and originally, I had a rental with budget. I was told on the phone I could get my car the next day, no problem, but when I went to get it, I was told that I should have called and that I’d have to wait at least 40 minutes before I could be helped. If you value your safety you should never choose Ace Rental after the experience we had with them. Ace Rental car was found on a Priceline deal which turned out to be not a deal as it cost me and my travel companion $450 for each of us in lost wages because of their unsafe vehicle that we had to take the time to pay to fix out of my pocket and then was not compensated for the lost wages.
