Our family has been going to Dr. Mike Acierno since he opened his practice in Edison Park. He is a wonderful dentist and a really nice guy. His office staff is always kind and professional. Chrissy has been my hygienist for many years. She’s like seeing an old friend every 6 months. She always does a great job. We are so happy with this practice all though we moved out of the area we stayed with Acierno Family Dentistry. Highly recommend!
The staff were great for my first appointment and I felt like I got good care. I decided to change dentists because they have flexible hours here. Warning though: be sure to ask about costs at every appointment. I've never paid at a regular visit in my life- and to my surprise I owed $57 for a cancer screening and fluoride. There was no discussion or explanation of costs during the appointment. I would have declined these services because money is tight right now and I had to put it on a credit card.
I’m a new patient at Acierno and I have been very happy with my experience so far. After moving from the burbs and other life changes I have been in search of a new dentist, I feel like I found a great place. I can’t say enough good things about every person I’ve come in contact with, from the front desk to the hygienists and the doctors, all have equally been welcoming and professional. If you’re looking for a great place to treat your dental needs, I highly recommend this dental practice.
I switched to Acierno Family Dentistry a year ago and am very happy with my decision. I’m usually quite scared of needles….however, Dr Kathleen Daly painlessly filled my filling!!! Chrissy did a very thorough cleaning! I feel very well taken care of. The front desk staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and swiftly checks you in and out for appointments.
I got 3 cavities filled here. They weren't communicative about the state of my teeth choosing to sugar coat (ironic isnt it) and leaving me uninformed. The numbing shot wore off early and i was in pain for half my appointment. I then had to go back and have a tooth re done as it caused pain every time i bit down. It has been a month since my appointment and those teeth still ache. This is the type of dental office that has people afraid to go to the dentist.
