ABC has truly been an instrumental force behind the development of my son! I have seen him thrive in the last 11 months being in therapy so much so that at times I am just in awe of all that he has been able to achieve with his therapists help. ABC is also very supportive and helpful in assisting us parent’s learn how to handle certain situations or how to approach them in a different manner. Don't take your kids here. They will be babysat at best, and belittled, mocked and made fun of at worst. I went in for an interview after graduating college to be a behavioral technician here as I pursue my Master's in clinical therapy. A portion of the interview was to shadow an RBT and what I saw was incredibly disturbing. They mocked the children with autism, and it was like a high school in there with all of the cliques being formed, grown women trying to get cool points for mocking 5 year olds with autism. I gotta say that the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I came in with questions, and walked out with a better understanding about how to work with behavior issues and how to identify triggers. I’d like to thank Eva for taking the time to really help me understand the ins and outs in our short conference. She definitely gave 5 star service.
Action behavior center in Irving is an amazing place for your child with special needs. My son has been going here since it opened and I’ve seen significant progress in him. I love how the staff give their all to the children’s need, this is their passion and it shows. The children are so excited in the mornings just to go into the building to get started. ABC (Action Behavior Center) has been the pillar and the construct of which our daughter has been able to excel in the skills needed for everyday life. The staff is amazing, the facility is home away from home, and the intentionality is evident. The hearts of all the staff and the willingness to help is something you cannot teach, rather it has been a core value of each individual. I am honored to be apart of the ABC team, forever grateful.
