Adapt for Life enabled my son to continue his schooling, in the public forum, which has been invaluable to us. We knew our son was different, but so caring and sweet, and we didn't know how to explain to the school how to engage with him on an operant level. Having a child with Autism comes with it's own challenges and there is not how to guide. Once you receive a diagnosis you are given a packet and told here find your child services. We were put on waitlist for many other facilities but within a week of putting our application in at Adapt for life I received a call from Nancy the program director about setting up a meet and greet with staff, a walk through and further evaluation for my child. My son graduated from here in Aug of 2024. Adapt for life help him in so many ways, we went from angry, aggressive child that could not communicate and did not know how to cope with the world around him to a child that is so sweet and is able to tell us what he wants and needs and has learned coping skills to cope with the world around him. They take the time to understand and cater to each client's unique needs and craft personalized strategies that really work for the individual.
Our son started with Adapt for Life in September 2024. He is ASD L2 Non-Verbal. Since starting ABA, we have noticed a complete 180. He communicated regularly now, with no other intervention for speech and communication than what he receives at ABA.
