This morning was my first visit with Dr. Schnitz. She made me feel at ease and was very easy to talk to. As a patient I look to have a Doctor who is down to earth and a GOOD listener, without question Dr. Schnitz is that doctor. There are a couple of tests scheduled to give her an updated view of my situation. I very much look forward to seeing her again.
Probably the best Doctor I have ever had. Extremely knowledgeable and compassionate and really knows her shit. I'm so thankful my insurance is accepted here. Update: She is still treating my Epilepsy and is still the best Doctor I have. Nice to have a Doctor that actually sits and listens to you.
Excellent Dr if she accepts you. I was having chronic migraines and an MRI was read wrong. This took me down a path of planning my funeral (literally) a lot of sleepless nights. Im grateful for all of the tests that were ran (even brain cancer), a lumbar puncture as well. Unfortunately there was never a follow-up for the dementia like feeling, migraine meds, nor the test results. This was my first meeting with Dr. Schnitz. I felt very comfortable with her and thought our first meeting went very well. She answered all of my questions, was patient and thorough. I'm looking forward to our next meeting.
Dr. Schnitz will listen to you in her office, but will completely ignore you afterwards. After three months of trying to get answers, I still don't have a good understanding of my blood draw results. However, I subsequently discovered the excellence of the manager who runs the Neurology outpatient department at Loyola (Linda I.). She was very helpful in all respects, including setting me up with another neurologist.
