The Dr didn’t examine my feet at all and immediately prescribed antibiotics, a foot soak, and a follow up visit for my ingrowns that were not infected. He advised against chemical removal of the sides because they would “make my nails look ugly”. I went to another podiatrist who removed my ingrowns on the first visit like I had requested and now have relief of my pain thanks to getting a second opinion. Had a terrible experience and thought something was fishy with a doctor out here in Fresno area. I did some research and switched to Dr. Kaplan and he was amazing. Down from his personality and the way he explains things etc. he is so knowledgeable. Gave me a few options and didn’t pressure me to cut off my foot like the other doctor said. He helped me keep my feet in shape (and of course you gotta keep up your end of the bargain as a patient). Anyway, THANK YOUUUU 🙏🏼 I’ll recommend him to anyone.
Dr Melara is an amazing Dr with an equally amazing team. They have all of the state of the art equipment and Dr Melara is a supurb surgeon, however what sets them apart is their caring and attention to their patients. Dr Melara went out of his way to ensure our mom got the correct care she needed, we can’t thank him enough. I wasn't aware that this type of care still existed. So thank you again and I would highly recommend him and his team.
Had a great experience with my 13 year old son. He's been dealing with an ingrown toenail for 3-4 months. His peds does not do ingrown nails other than to recommend home care. His peds office recommended going to urgent care, but I haven't had good experiences with urgent care in general. Instead I googled for a local podiatrist and came up with this new clinic.
