I recently lost my dentures in a stressful move. I was referred to Advantage Dental to start the process on a new pair. I was quickly disappointed when I called and found out the next available appt isn't until October!!! I wanted to cry!! But they told me I could call every morning to see if they have any cancelations, so I did!! Two days!! Two days is all it took and I got in. Everyone, EVERYone was wonderful that worked there!! I called at 1:30 on a Tuesday with a toothache (broken tooth), and it really hurt. With it being 1 week before Christmas I thought, "Oh no! I have so much to do and this is going to be awful having to deal with this over the holiday". I prayed that they would be able to help me and called the office. They were able to see me in 30 min. They were ok. The dental assistant was too busy worrying about what music was playing through the speakers. And she kept jumping around when the music was playing so water sprayed all over my face and ran down my neck. She needs to pay more attention to her job and not the music. The last time I was in for a procedure that team was great. The team this time, not so much.

I went in three months ago for an established care visit sat there for 45 minutes and they proceeded to tell me that they never received the fax Of my records. So they rescheduled me and I was seen today for my established care and did my exam. All was good with the dental assistant and the provider, but when I was brought to the front desk to schedule my treatment, the lady informed me that it wouldn’t be until October and I told her I already had an existing appointment for treatment, and she proceeded to be extremely rude... read more

I’m absolutely terrified of dental work being done, but this was my 2nd experience with advantage that eased my fears. At the Coos Bay location, the staff were all super kind and “down to business” but in a fun, you-can-tell-everybody-likes-their-job, kind of a way. Didn’t even flinch when I got the numbing shot, and I really hate needles.
