Like all the other reviews they are a horrible business. Do not rent from them at all. When we moved into our rental house 3 years ago the carpets were disgusting and the entire house smelled like dog. I'm sure they took the previous renters deposit and did nothing in the home. They replaced 1 carpet! The house still smelled, and I had to get the carpets cleaned myself. Advantage Gold was really disappointing to work with. After we deep cleaned the mold and disgusting carpet in our rental home, repainted the moldy door and walls that had literal human blood on them ( with their consent), and covered the stained countertop with laminate, they told us that our "damages" exceeded our security deposit and instead of being honest about this they charged us an additional month of rent and sent us a check for the remainder of that additional month (which we never should have paid to begin with). I do NOT recommend renting from them. They don’t take care of their properties. Tried to get the disgusting carpet cleaned/replaced and they kept sending people to get a quote for them,nothing happened. But they sure did take it out of our security deposit! And I can guarantee they will find a reason to not give your safety deposit back!
After going to look at a house, we immediately contacted the office to follow up on information. One of our questions was "has anyone else applied for the house?" We were told "no," and we were encouraged to put in the application with the non-refundable fee as soon as possible, Not even 16hours later, at 8am we were informed that they will be going with another applicant. I have 2 full time jobs where I make well over 3 times the rent plus my wife has a full time, and we both have over 600credit score. We were scammed out o... read more
As a renter, this team has been excellent at getting all of our repair requests taken care of in a promptly manner. Even things that I mentioned as being non-urgent and just wanted on their radar for when we checked out, I had companies calling me next day to schedule appointments to have repairs made. Courtney has been excellent and has made my fiancée’s and my first renting experience go by smoother than we could have dreamed. Thank you guys!
