I used Advantage Storage in Plano 9 years ago and it was a great experience then, so I came back to them to rent another unit in 2025. They’ve got even more to offer now and are still awesome. I met with Alex in the office who was professional, helpful and just awesome in general to meet with. He explained everything thoroughly, was very patient with my questions and even gave me a tour of the entire property. Keri, the manager, was very helpful in resolving my issue with billing. She was prompt, polite and helpful. We have used this facility for over 10 years and it is always clean and good temperature with nice lighting and security.
I had a mission-critical situation where I urgently needed access to my storage unit to retrieve medical equipment for organizations in need. Unfortunately, my lock wasn’t working, and I couldn’t get in. The facility manager went above and beyond to help—she quickly provided a new lock and password, and sent Alex to remove the faulty lock and assist with installing the replacement. Best of the best storage facilities! I run a moving company and refer all of my clients to Advantage! Customer service is amazing, super clean and well kept facilities as well! Cannot recommend enough!!!
They abuse the credit card on file by charging more than agreed. Please be advised, even when they charge more and they admit they have made a mistake, they refuse to reimburse you. We have been good tenants for almost a decade and, in the last year, have been abusive financially.
