My in laws live here. Great staff - great communication. My in laws look healthier. Lots of activities and social events. Some of the staff do not speak English well but if you are fluent in mandarin, it is a nice place to live.

In our family's 12-years' experience in having our father as a resident at Aegis Gardens, we have always found the staff to be professional, friendly, and very caring. The concierge staff is always very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable, which sets the tone to all visits. The facilities are kept immaculate and always has a fresh and clean scent, with no harsh chemical cleaners or institutional type odors. Back in 2018, my parents asked me to look into senior homes on their behalf. I surveyed several places and felt that Aegis would be the best match for them. Eventually, they did stay at Aegis for a period of 15 months beginning mid 2022. They had a spacious room on the second floor, with enough room for a queen-size bed, a single-seat and a 2-seat sofa, chairs, large coffee table, and still had plenty of space to walk around. In April, 2023, our mom fell at home and after an extended time in a skilled nursing facility for rehabilitation, it was apparent she could no longer live independently. Fortunately, we had already started to research potential assisted living settings in the Bay Area and found Aegis Gardens in Fremont. Our father has been residing at Aegis Gardens Fremont (AGF) since 2012 and continues to do so. Through these 12 years, our father's needs have changed and each time AGF has adjusted to his needs accordingly to ensure that he is continually provided with the best possible and efficient care. This review is for the food served at Aegis Gardens. Their menus, which are designed for the Chinese palate, are excellent. Residents have a large choice of breakfast items, both Western items and Chinese items like rice porridge and various steamed buns. Their lunch and dinner menus are varied and always look inviting. My wife has resided at the Memory Care unit of Aegis Garden (AG) since November, 2019. From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank every person at AG that has taken such wonderful care of my wife with their quality work, kindness and treating her as if she was one of their own family members. Aegis Gardens provides excellent care and keeps our mother safe, covid free and healthy. I honestly believe, had she stayed at another less culturally compatible assisted living, she would have contracted covid, fallen or possibly no longer be with us. We moved mom from a Western based Assisted Living in late February 2019, just 2 weeks before pandemic shut down because she wasn't thriving. No one knew there would be a pandemic. Aegis Garden is the BEST place for your loved ones. The staff are incredibly friendly, caring, and professional. They treated my Mother like family. All the staff are attentive and work with the family to ensure the highest quality of patient/family satisfaction.
