I’m sad to see that I’m not the only one that has had a similar experience since Robert has retired and sold his company. I made an appointment back in February to file my taxes in July, they assured me that they would file an extension for me as well. Did they? Have no idea! I have been with Robert for years, along with many family members. We all loved him. You went in feeling like a friend and left with taxes filed or whatever you needed done. However since he has retired and sold to True North, you went from feeling like a friend to feeling like a number. For the first time I left the office with nothing filed. They took over for an amazing accountant, Robert Montgomery when they bought the practice last year. The communication was horrible. They failed to file our business taxes and never filed an extension after they assured us if they couldn’t finish them, they would. We called an emailed daily assuring us Nick would call back. It was months past the extension when he finally called back and said, “ I don’t think we filed an extension because I can’t find any paper trail.” We have never seen such unprofessionalism. Robert was the best. He prepared our taxes over 20 years.. Unfortunately, not the same service since he retired and a new firm took over. We have decided to use another CPA firm since no one can return our calls and they don't offer in-person appointments. Very disappointed!
SHADY, UNTRUSTWORTHY & DISRESPECTFUL. This place has gone down hill and the workers at this office are not professionally trained. After leaving their office frustrated, I received a call from a male worker who yelled at me and refused to give me back the copies of my information that they took! Terrible. Hopefully they go out of business.
