Do not recommend this doctor if you want someone who genuinely cares about you & and will ensure your safety & wellbeing during the vulnerable medical situations that come with gynecology. At my last appointment with her I arrived 15 minutes early, was taken back into the room 40 minutes late. Dr mintah helped to make my pregnancy experience with my third and last child one of the worst experiences ever. I've been busy being a mom and never gave it much thought. I was just happy to have my new baby and us both be healthy. But the way I was treated was disgusting. Not sure if it's because of my state insurance at the time or what. She one time even suggested I abort the baby saying " you don't have to go through with this" after giving her no indication that ,that was what I wanted. Dr Mintah was terrible!! She has no bedside manners at all!!! I didn't have insurance at the time and was paying out of pocket. Perhaps that was the reason she looked down on me. I'm a 42 yr old married woman and mother of 2. I went through a lot and had a miscarriage 3 years back. When I added that I have rheumatoid arthritis, she told me, "the plot just thickens with you huh" with such a bad attitude. She was rude and spoke to me as if I were at fault for getting pregnant. Dr. mintah and nurse Stephanie were absolutely wonderful. This is my second child but first time and this office. She thoroughly explained everything and took the time to make sure we understood everything before leaving. My boyfriend has a 10 year old and I have an 8 year old so a lot has changed over the years but both Dr. mintah and Stephanie helped us feel comfortable and welcomed!! Thank you!!
Since the first dayi met Dr Mintah she been very compassion and understanding and so very sweet . VERY PROFESSIONAL! One of the best ob/ gyn doctors .
