Only rent from this place if you want to to be constantly ignored and taken advantage of. If you enjoy being told to just get lawyer when you call in about a repair that’s taken months to repair, then this is the place for you! Oh you wanna move out cause your lease is gonna be up? Good luck getting in contact with someone or getting someone to call you back about it. They’ll wait till the last second just to keep you in another yearly contract. You’ll love it!
I was a resident for just over 3 years and highly recommend them. Lovely well maintained property, never had any issues, and the few, rare maintenance needs were resolved very quickly. Their rents are very fair and reasonable- especially for Lakewood and all they offer. They are kind, professional people with a wide range of beautiful properties to fit whatever you need.
At first it seemed fine and I didn't have any issues. I was completely fine with staying put for a bit. Only to find right after my lease renewal that there are ROACHES. I found a dead, full grown roach on the first floor. Paranoia and anxiety from this is exhausting and nauseating. I have been trying to contact the office now and no one seems to pick up the phone, no one seems to call back even when leaving a voicemail. They will get every dollar they can out of you even if you do everything right. I was charged $155 for a parking pass (that was turned in that I’m assuming they lost), a burner on the stove that was already broken when we moved in and for carpet cleaning when we spent a whole day cleaning it. We also made a request with maintenance to fix the broken burner when we moved in and they never showed. Just don’t bother with them honestly unless you love giving companies free money
Livable building, incompetent staff. While I have seen the occasional roach and mouse in my apartment, I don't believe that AIY is to blame for this. It was a much larger issue when I first moved in, and with diligent cleaning on my part it has become very rare to see a bug or rodent.
