I had sharp pain in back and shoulders which I recognized to be a real problem and not just a pulled muscle. Went to the IHA ER in Brighton, MI and they found aortic aneurysm with dissection. Transported to main IHA in Ypsilanti and was seen by Drs. Aziz and Gupta. They determined that I'd need both a stent in the aorta and a bypass (shunt) to connect the two arteries above the aorta.
