On July 7 my wife called the main number to get an appointment for her and I to find a replacement for our cardiologist who was no longer with the practice. She called the main number and was referred to someone else who told her the first available appointments started in June 2027 and recommended other practices. I went on their website and found several cardiologists who were accepting new patients. Again, called the main number, explained our situation and got an appointment in 2 weeks. I have been a patient of Albany Associates in Cardiology for 34 years. I recently received a letter informing me that my cardiologist was leaving the practice to work at St Peter’s Hospital. When I called to select a new cardiologist, I was told the earliest I could schedule an appointment would be August of 2027. Nice way to be treated after 34 years.
I was there once a few years ago where a male Cardiologist took a stress test from me which was normal thank God. The office was quiet and things went well. But this year our PCP sent me there while I had severe chest pain and shortness of breath for a few days. When they called me in the room two female workers jumped on me so fast in such a rush: very mean, rough, barbaric; one of them asking questions, the other one taking blood pressure, body temperature and now finally killing me to take ECG and they kept yelling "WE AR... read more
Staff were extremely nice and personable, however my favorite tech was Lowery. Lowery must have sensed my anxiety and calmed it with his bedside manner. He explained the procedure and made me feel comfortable. When I was leaving, Lowery made sure I knew when results would be available - such a nice gentleman. I'm very disappointed with the callback response time. I left several messages for my doctor three weeks ago after being hospitalized and another message the second week of May. The nurse is just now returning my call after being notified by another provider. Please do a better job with communication because people lives are at risk.
