I looked all over for a food truck that would cater to a brunch and ended up only finding 1, and they happen to be right around the corner! We had the Alden Park-ed food truck come to our home for the day after our son's wedding. Our brunch served about 60 people and we couldn't have been happier! What a pleasant surprise! I did not expect for this place to become one of my top favorite places to eat in the area, but it did just that! You'll find a bunch of these places that spend lots of money on vibe and decor, but the food is lacking. I walked in thinking this was one of those places. We loved everything that we ordered except the dipping sauce that comes with the chickpea "fries." It needs to be spicier.
Let me first start with the wait staff… they were excellent! It starts with the hostess. I missed her name but she was very warm and came over to see how we were doing in a genuine way. Jackie our server was excellent ( attentive and not pushy). Our food was very good. The wraps were excellent as well as the chowder. Lots of clams ang the taste was great. My ribeye was big and excellent, cooked just how I asked for it. Lamb was excellent
Service was EXCELLENT. Food was okay. I will say the calamari and portuguese quahogs were the best. The burger was average. My pumpkin parmesan risotto had no flavor. The drinks were the BEST.... definitely won't be back nor would I recommend it. Definitely over priced.
Food is always on point & they have a nice specialty cocktail menu. Our waitress was very nice & attentive. She was honest about a cocktail my husband wanted - apparently, it's been returned often when ordered so he opted to switch to a classic martini. We really appreciated her input. Highly recommend the fried avocado slices & stuffed meatloaf. We will definitely be back!
