Dr. Theisen is a great doctor. She is very attentive and truly cares about her patients. She takes time to listen and is eager to help. I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends.
I find Dr. Theisen to be very knowledgeable and straight forward. She answered every one of my questions in a very professional manner. I have been seeing her for several years now and recommend her often. She has been very compassionate each time I have seen her. The thing I like best is she is not a pill pusher. She works with you to address your issues without just masking them with medications. I think she's excellent!
Her most important diagnostic question was "What did Dr. Williams recommend." Stupidly, I answered her and I saw her expression change and I realized I just lost all her objectivity and that unless something truly bad showed up on the X-ray she wouldn't truly think independently about my care.
She knows the bare minimum required about spines. I had seen her multiple times and she didn't do anything, just took my money and said "I don't know what's wrong with you come back in a few months" saw a rheumatologist and was diagnosed in 5 minutes with fibromyalgia
I found Dr. Theisen to lack compassion and patient care. She was belittling of my condition, especially the chronic severe pain, coming across as there really isn't a problem when the MRI was there to see. She spent 90% of the time speaking to my husband about me and not to me as the patient. Very disappointed.
She isn't at all compassionate and I found her to be extremely judgmental. Most of the time she was reading notes on her computer while chewing her thumbnail and she was not really listening to me. She even looked at a text she received during our encounter. I think that is very unprofessional.
