Alia is a perfectly adequate place to obtain a CNA license. I just feel strongly, even now, that it felt more like I was in the middle of a business operation rather than in the middle of a classroom. It was fast paced and prepaired me well for the CNA state board exam but the fast pace environment isn't for everyone. My son is going for his STNA here at Alia The owner Abed I’ve known for years now I actually moved him into the new building he currently teaches out of. I only want the best for my son and we are expecting Abed and his staff to provide him with what is required to pass his class. I will be communicating with Abed throughout this process I know he will understand I have one son with one chance to make a difference for this world and his career. I will update this review as we continue our journey here at Alia nursing school.
Terrible school, do not waste your time or money here! Abed is an absolute jerk that only cares about money and nothing else. They have absolutely NO regard for your time, they will be LATE themselves....but God forbid you are even 5 minutes late! they kick u out of the program, keep the money, and have you pay a "reinstatement fee"!!! The WORST part is they DON'T let u use the restroom for over 6 hours which is ILLEGAL !!!! I will be reporting this to the board!!! Instead they tell you NOT TO DRINK WATER or COFFEE! I wish I could give 0 stars because they don’t even deserve 1.I signed up for the 5-week weekend CNA class but somehow it’s turning into six. I didn’t sign up for bonus weeks; I signed up to be done on time. For what I paid, this whole experience has been frustrating and unprofessional. One of the worst experiences I ever had. The director Abed, is literally passive aggressive rude, sarcastic and does entirely to much. He csncels thr classes youve veen waiting for.months for at the drop of a dime and expects you to roll over to their commands at youexpense. They reschedule or cancel students with no notice.
