I scheduled a 1 bedroom studio move. Moving was 28 miles from pickup. I was scheduled for 2 movers. They sent 3. I had to put $100 deposit down. I was quoted $600 top of price. 3 days prior. Jess called to advise possible $200 more. Once they got to drop off location i had to pay $911.00 before they would unload then told I would be credited if less than estimates. They charged us over 2k, broke our mini fridge (we paid $400 and they offered us $120 to replace… it wasn’t even a year old). In the process of dropping our mini fridge they messed up our wooden stairs and walls (didn’t pay to fix any of those damages). The furniture they moved now has chipped paint and scratches (even though they charge you for materials that is supposed to prevent that). SHAME ON ALL MY SONS MOVING COMPANY! Do Not Use this company! I HAVE SPOKE WITH THE RUDEST PEOPLE IN CLAIMS!! I had my furniture moved into a POD so I could get work done on the inside of my house. I also called the same company to unload it. Much to my surprise nothing was used to protect between the furniture in the POD and many things were scratched up. Company was unprofessional the mgr let’s there employees steal from from contract clients a driver named Thomas isom I see they’ve been making there own reviews with the sorry employees and his moving buddy’s were smoking weed outside of my residence and on the phone I over heard him speaking about selling drugs when he was off work I spoke to management about this he diddnt seem to care as long as he got payed my jewelry and other items was missing The man in the office is awful he lets his employees do anything jus as long... read more
RecommendedIf u have heavy furniture Do NOT Use this company. My initial consultation with Jared went well. I was really impressed by the Google reviews. My actual move was AWFUL. The movers were scheduled to arrive at 8am. They didn't show up till 9:15. No one called to inform me they were going to be late. I called the mgr at about 8:30 and was told they hadn't finished the job the night before and had to go back. He gave no apologies for the inconvenience or me not being notified earlier. The crew that was sent out for our first move was amazing. The crew that was sent out this week for our second move, two homes into one, were horrible. They were sent from Baton Rouge and didn’t show up until almost 11 am. They didn’t have the two trucks we were told we needed and because of legal drive time it took two days because of the drive to and from BR and they took an hour to get from one house to the other. Terrible movers! Arrived late and did not know what they were doing a 2 hour job as quoted took 5.5 hours. Paid for 4 guys and caught one sleeping and another missing. Furniture was dragged and damaged. They did nothing . They force you to pay with credit card before they will take your furniture off truck. They are scam artists! Beware…
All I needed was 2 men to load my U-haul, that's it. When I made the appointment, I told the scheduler that everything would already be packed, all I needed was the loading service. She said packing supplies came standard with the loading fee, but I would only be charged for the supplies that I actually used. I had already purchased packing supplies from U-haul (mattress pads, shrink wrap, tape, etc.) and had the entire apartment packed and ready to go when the loaders arrived FOUR HOURS LATE!
