Disclaimer: this review does have a little to do with the movers, but mostly with their claims department. We moved recently and the movers ruined our TV. We submitted a claim, and were offered a whopping $125 for our ruined $700 TV, which we had to replace. When I called, I was told “well, if you want to be really specific we’re only legally required to reimburse you for $0.60 per POUND of damaged, lost, or stolen items so technically we only owe you like $32 at most. Absolutely the worst experience the company quoted me one price then it was almost 200$ more on the day of the move the office staff was a complete ass to me the two guys they sent Lolly gagged around and wasted time standing outside talking I was told they were gonna take my stuff since I didn’t have the extra money over the price they gave me just a total fucking disaster period I would never recommend them to anyone
I called and booked on September 15th for a October 1st Move in. I confirmed availability with their representative and paid my deposit happily. September 30th at 12pm I call to confirm and not only does the price of $143 get bumped up to $184. I receive a call at 5pm cancelling my move for October 1st. I was quoted 2 weeks before my move for 3 guys at $139/hr. This was some sort of special. When my husband called to pay the $500 deposit, they were trying to talk him into 4 guys at $229/hr. He said no. We had moved into this rental 6 months ago with a different company and it took 3 guys 6 hours. Fast forward to 48 hours before the move, and they call wanting to send out their estimator. The guy comes and estimated it would need 5 guys and 9.5 hours for a total of $3,300. Took 6 hours to move a not even full 2br apartment 5 miles to the new place. Price was ridiculous!!! DO NOT USE!!!
Do not use this company, I hired them had a 250.00 deposit yesterday was the move they came from Baton Rouge to New Iberia where I was moving from. 4 guys were due between 8am and 10 am. Needless to say they show up at 11:15 (late) I let that slide. I have to say these guys did move fast. They keep dropping hints for me to make sure I give them a tip. Worst business ethics from any company I have ever dealt with. I was quoted and agreed upon a three man crew for a certain rate. On the day of my move a two man crew showed up and with a broken truck. And to add insult to injury, the rate was raised by $10 per hour. Once the manager was on the phone he told me that it did not matter what he had agreed upon. What he was providing was a two man crew and a new rate period. They want to double price for work that they didn't much do and on top of that lie to there customers about how much was going to be the actual pay...awful DO NOT Recommend!
