This restaurant is an undiscovered gem that I found while visiting NJ. Excellent food and service. Will recommend to my Jersey friends and family. You will not be disappointed.

We went there for dinner on a Saturday night and good thing we made a reservation because the place was packed! They sat us down quickly. We were in Newark for one night and found Allegro's menu online to be Intriguing. Not only was the food excellent, but it was reasonably priced. The service was wonderful and we truly enjoyed our experience. If my travels ever take me to Newark again I will be sure to visit this restaurant again!
We went to celebrate our first anniversary of marriage with a group of friends..and we really had a very good dinner time..they enjoyed the excellent food and service..definitely we will back soon!!
We had an "impromptu" gathering for a group of folks traveling on business from VA. Food was amazing, service was stellar, sangria and wine were terrific as well. Thank you for a memorable night out.

Highly recommend the paella and Sangria. Portions are generous. The tv behind the bar takes away from the ambiance inside. Better to sit outside if weather allows.
