"My router stopped working after a year and a half. I was ready to put it in the trash then I remembered I had purchased the Square Trade warranty. I didn't expect much but I filled out the claim form which was extremely easy. Within hours I received an email with a shipping label. I boxed it up and dropped it off to be shipped. "I have filed two claims with Square Trade and been very satisfied both times. The first was for a $1000 computer monitor that died after 5.5 years. I still had 6 months left on the contract. It was not repairable and they sent me a check for $870. It was hassle free. That was a fair price considering the age of the monitor.
