"Be prepared to wait a little. Sent my item out August 17 and now, September 4, I am still on the phone with them trying to work things out. Communication between the repair depot and the SquareTrade facility is not great. Had to call the repair depot where they said they told SquareTrade that the item was not fixable on August 20. Getting frustrated. Expect to wait AT LEAST 20 minutes when calling SquareTrade to talk with anyone. When you do though, they are usually very nice and accommodating. When I dropped and damaged my camera about a year later. I looked up the warranty, boxed the camera and shipped it off. It was effortless, and 2 weeks my camera came back good as new. I'm a beliver, and now on my 2nd Square Trade warranty for my new camcorder."

"It is possible I'll buy some electronic gadget in the future without getting a SquareTrade warranty on it but it is not likely. My car CD receiver, purchased over a year ago, failed recently. SquareTrade handled the payout of the warranty within 48 hours of it being files. Given SquareTrade's prices and execution of the warranty, I can't image using anyone else."
