From psychosis to finding a purpose in life, altitude was there to support me in every way possible. Altitude is a place for healing. The people who work there really go above and beyond to make sure you seen, heard, and safe. Each individual there had such a huge impact on my journey. When I showed up there I was broken and lost. Through groups, my counseling and therapy sessions I was able to work through some really hard stuff. They show you that it’s okay to let your walls down and accept help by seeing how they interact with one another. It gives you hope that not everyone is going to hurt you. Altitude recovery center has given me a full scholarship for 30 days and they are providing me a ride to the airport and paying for my plane tickets. They are the only ones who has offered to give me a chance. I sent message to over 100 rehabs in the United States and no one would help me. My insurance company only pays for mental hospitals because I'm on medicare. I'm so excited for this opportunity of a lifetime. We sent a loved one to Altitude, and the transformation has been nothing short of a miracle. From the moment she arrived the staff showed so much care and compassion.
