I have a rare mental health disability. I went to Dr. Brown with high hopes, but she couldn’t help me. I wasn’t pleasant to her, but unfortunately that goes with my disability. I feel bad for hurting her feelings and pride. She deserved a better person than me. Now I don’t have a psychiatrist because she quit on me. I feel hopeless about my condition. All I want is to get better. All I want is to feel like I am worthy. I don’t mean to be a bad person. I promise I don’t.
I’ve been seeing Dr.Brown for almost 3 years now & she is by far the best psychiatrist I’ve had. After sifting through multiple who were eager to push medications and send me out the door, it was refreshing to have a doctor who actually took the time to find out what I wanted to happen in my treatment plan. Dr.Brown is the perfect balance of personable and professional and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking psychiatry care in the high country.
Dr. Brown is an excellent and experienced psychiatrist. She has won best psychiatrist in Watauga County for the past three years. Her treatment approach is holistic and incredibly personal. She is kind and committed to helping patients make informed decisions about their psychiatric care. If you are struggling with anxiety, ADHD, or eating disorders I could not recommend her more.
“Doesn’t care about her patients” Dr brown carelessly left a dear friend of mine high and dry because of his struggles with alcoholism. She was fully aware of this issue when she took him on as a patient. She left one practice she was working to help patients at Cannon Memorial Hospital because of my friend. She then gave my friend an ultimatum to quit drinking in a short time period regardless of how long he?d been struggling with drinking on top of his episodes.
