Doesn’t care is right. I’ll never forget the day she cared more about figuring out whether I owed her dough (BCBS, she should’ve known I was covered) than my mental health. She couldn’t find me in whatever platform she uses to “manage” clients. I’ve been seeing Dr.Brown for almost 3 years now & she is by far the best psychiatrist I’ve had. After sifting through multiple who were eager to push medications and send me out the door, it was refreshing to have a doctor who actually took the time to find out what I wanted to happen in my treatment plan. Dr.Brown is the perfect balance of personable and professional and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking psychiatry care in the high country.
I would love to be a patient of yours again. I was told because I have medicaid now that I can't see you. It breaks my heart because I can't see you at least I got to see you on a regular basis unlike the place I currently go to. When I did see you I can by far say you were the best! I've been to other facilities but not have been treated as good as you did me!
Dr Brown has stuck with me through thick and thin, with my mental health. She is one of the main reasons I’m able to live a normal life. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Brown is an excellent and experienced psychiatrist. She has won best psychiatrist in Watauga County for the past three years. Her treatment approach is holistic and incredibly personal. She is kind and committed to helping patients make informed decisions about their psychiatric care. If you are struggling with anxiety, ADHD, or eating disorders I could not recommend her more.
