I’m very disappointed with my experience at amazing care pediatric outpatient therapy. I was told to arrive at 9:55, but never told that the actual appointment started at 9:55. I arrived at 10:09 after packing a big lunch for my daughter, only to be told that she could not be seen. This was especially upsetting because I had been waiting months for this appointment. Regarding my daughter's speech therapy, that service itself with the therapist was great and I saw some significant progress. However, if you have more than two children, I would strongly recommend going to a different clinic, as there was always an issue with my kids being kids (including a toddler) while waiting for my daughter to be done with her sesison. I couldn't recommend this place less. We wanted our child in food therapy before kindergarten with enough time to make an impact. Instead, Summit took forever to get us in for an intake, which we finally did for $150. After the intake, they informed us they have no availability at any location for appointments. We then had to find a different place to take our child for food therapy and they will not accept Summit's intake information. I had a consult call with Dani, one of the OTs, and she was so helpful. She gave me great tips and exercises to work on until we can get in for a formal evaluation. I am so appreciative for her taking the time talk me through the next steps to help my daughter with her coordination and strength.
Highly recommend for speach therapy. Emily is thorough, fun, highly encouraging and very knowledgeable. We are grateful to get our child the necessary support and in an eval that was very disarming, welcoming, and helpful.
