I had a great experience and loved the convenience! It was very easy to schedule an appointment and James, the phlebotomist, came on time. He was very patient and friendly with me and talked with me throughout the process. Even though I have very small veins and I get nervous with blood draws, he kept me calm and was able to draw me on the first try. Thank you!
I have been with American Health as a phlebotomist for 23 years and I have enjoyed my time here. The job can be tough and our routes start really early in the morning. But I enjoy taking care of our patients and I have gotten to know the medical staff in the facilities I visit over time. They’ve really become like friends. Also over the years, I have been able to learn new skills and help in new roles.
This company had a sweet deal with Carnival Cruise Lines during the Pandemic! They were in the port terminal performing mandatory Covid-19 testing of passengers prior to embarkation. They charged $100.00 for each person weather you showed up or not! We did not sail because we were exposed to Covid and they would not refund our money. BUT, did refund money to others in our party. Talk about a horrible company. I worked for these guys for 3 years. They have horrible management, one of the worst managers I have ever worked for in 25 years works for this company, her name is Olive Walker. She is one of the worst people to ever be around, a horrible teacher, and an even worse manager. Very rude, uncultured and has zero accountability for her actions. She drives off all the new employees and the management there never does anything about it. If I could put Zero stars I would.
WORST LAB COMPANY EVER! I would have given it 0 stars if I could, save yourself time & go somewhere else, This place is Dirty, full of rude people, & full of a racist white people that clearly have something against Hispanic race. I mean What lab company do you go to & it’s okay to have a dog ? Not sanitary at all !
