I had a wonderful experience at Americano. The food was spectacular, the drinks exquisite, the service impeccable, and the location just perfect. If you go, don't miss the Lobster Roll - absolutely delicious! And to go with it, I highly recommend the Pistachio Martini... a unique and delightful combination that I loved. Definitely a place worth visiting. I'll be coming back for sure! Thank you, Americano, for an unforgettable experience.
Great atmosphere and good drinks but wtf do they think they ate charging 16 for burrata that came with one piece of bread
A cute spot for brunch, but food was just okay. My over-medium egg on my bacon breakfast sandwich (on challah) exploded all over me on the first bite. They also seemed to struggled with lattes even though the place is literally connected to a coffee shop (though I suppose they may not be institutionally connected). The breakfast potatoes were also just okay. Overall, a little overpriced for what we got. Atmosphere was great for a girls brunch though.
One of the best happy hours in Chicago! You cannot beat the $10 bottomless wings and $8 martini deal. The charcuterie leaves a lot to be desired and the garlic parm wings are touch and go in terms of texture and taste, but the whole place is a vibe. It gets super crowded (bc the HH is that good) but just snag a resy beforehand and you'll be golden.
I absolutely LOVE Americano. I've been quite a few times and it just gets better and better!!! I highly recommend going for brunch and doing the bottomless deal because you get beyond your moneys worth! I did the bottomless deal and got the Hugo spritz and it is going to be my new go to summer drink!!! Also if you have the pleasure of going to americano I hope you get the waitress Jen! She was absolutely delightful and worked her butt off!!! She totally made our brunch that much better and when you get great service I absolu... read more
Stopped here for brunch and loved it. Great location and absolutely gorgeous interior. Got seated at the bar and the staff brought water right away. Even though the restaurant was pretty packed, my food didn't take long. I ordered a beet salad and lobster roll - both were decent size and well done. The salad was fresh and delicious, lobster roll was 4/5 I'd say (the roll itself and the seasoning of lobster could be better). The bartenders were attentive - refilled glasses with water and took away plates quickly. A cherry on ... read more
Americano is a nice neighborhood spot. The wings and the cocktails are amazing and the restaurant has a nice ambiance.
GET THE SMASH BURGER! Dare I say one of the best in all of Chicago? I've had au cheval, portillos, Beatrix, etc. and I have to say the smash burger at Americano caught me by surprise by how good it was. The burger comes with caramelize onions, cheese and pickles and they just worked so well together. We came for the bottomless mimosas but left knowing that we had to come back for the burger. I would recommend making a reservation for brunch since it was pretty packed on a Saturday morning.
Great happy hour deals every day. Charcuterie board was solid for 1/2 price. I really liked my lemon drop martini. Also so cute inside with a fun patio, and the service was solid!
