This review has been edited to reflect Amerigas reaching out to me since my original review. I placed an online order on October 30th. Took screenshots of the order because of past experiences with Amerigas. Chatted to check on my delivery that was scheduled for 11/10. As a new customer, I am NOT liking the experience thus far and I now see why they have a 1.2 rating! The customer service overall is TERRIBLE! I signed up as a new customer on January 14th and scheduled my delivery and was given a time frame between the 15th and 19th which is today. I was told I would receive a call a day before the delivery, which I haven't received, mind you of the delivery time frame and they arent open on the weekend. THE WORST SERVICE YOU COULD EVER GET. I am on the auto refill and so far everytime I have had to call in to get it filled. This time I was supposed to get propane 1/16-1/22 today is 1/31 and still no propane. I've called everyday and spoke to every foreigner they got and keep getting promised and have to wait on hold over 49 mins to get told they don't know anything and should be delivered. This is the worst company in history. They absolutely suck. Once upon a time, I had a reliable local propane delivery company called Cress Gas. Amerigas bought them out along with about 12 other companies in the area, so they essentially formed a monopoly locally. They started charging an annual tank rental fee that I never had to pay before with Cress. Then, when I ran out of gas for my cookstove this past spring because they did not deliver promptly, they tried to charge me $300.00 for an emergency delivery. I don't think... read more
Ordered propane back in January and it's now Feb 17th and no propane contacted them 5 times and everytime I spoke with someone they said it would be delivered by the end of the day. They changed my window date 5 times already. They don't care about there customers and if they run out of propane. I told them several times we are under 20% and we are now down to 15% and they don't care
