AmeriGas is by far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I was a customer for 3 years, and every single year the service got worse, but this past winter was the final straw. I was on automatic delivery, and in late December 2024 I was down to 25%. They told me they’d be out within a week. That promise was repeated multiple weeks in a row until I hit 5% in January. Customer service is absolutely horrible! It is impossible to raise an employee on sight and you only get outsourced overseas customer service who are out of touch. Amerigas is horrible, and I would never recommend to anyone

Ordered delivery three times - Amerigas local office in Annadale, NJ is canceling saying tank is full whereas our tank (1000 gallon) is at 40%!! Why is your driver lying?????!! Unbelievable - no option to contact the local office only the horrible customer service line that is located out of country with dumb reps that cannot speak English! I’m going to contact a consumer lawyer for this kind of horrible behavior.

Did not show up for a scheduled service. Phones not answered, and online customer support not helpful.

I called to inquire about becoming a customer. I told the employee that I would be a low volume customer. She asked me what gas appliances I had. I told her just a kitchen stove. She told me they would not place a tank for just a stove. I told her I would be willing to buy a tank. She told me that they don't sell tanks. In so many words she told me that they don't want low volume customers. When I get my gas dryer and gas hot water heater.....I won't be calling them back.
