This company does not even deserve one star. After trying to order our propane, they tell us that there is a block on the account and to call back in 24 hours and the block will be lifted. I have no idea why there was a block, we always paid before we had delivery. We waited for three days because it was the weekend, then they tell us the hold is still there so call us again in 72 hours. So here we are today! DON'T CHOOSE AMERIGAS. I have been (won't be soon) a customer for 15+ years, but they DO NOT care about their customers, or their loyalty to their company. Recently, I sent several emails regarding being charged for services Amerigas DID NOT provide (because talking to anyone on the phone is impossible, even when you do get through, you can't understand what they are saying), I am unable to get any response or communication back regarding this issue, but they have no problem sending me an OUTRAGEOUS bill in the mail. I've been trying to get on the phone with an actual person for MONTHS. I keep getting the automated system, even after receiving a voice mail or being sent an email saying, "please try this number" or "please reply to this email"... I then get the same run around. The online billing activity is not intuitive. They were instructed to call my cell phone and didn't so they canceled the delivery. Now we area both on hold to get out money back or make them go out and put the probe we ordered in our tank. I'm calling our bank to dispute the charge. I'm beyond pissed!!! Word of mouth says a lot. Over an hour and after 60 min 10 sec I was disconnected!! Called back still on hold I habe more important and better things to do than shot on hold to a crooked company that steals money from people no wonder they had a class action law suite... read more
Your National Customer Care center is a joke. The representatives I spoke with did not speak understandable English. You would think a company with America in its name would be staffed by fluently speaking English personnel. I am looking for a local company that has local representation to take over our propane needs.
