This is the worst possible organization/communication I have experienced with a company. Phone support is a disaster. An EMERGENCY GAS LEAK caused us to evacuate our young children and leave home. Instead of dispatching a tech, Amerigas sent a very nice man to fill the faulty tank, without even asking where almost $500 in gas disappeared to in less than a few days! AmeriGas has never filled our tank unless it was low. We have a remote censor, so they know exactly how much we have. Once, it was getting very low and I had to call them. What changed that they decided to fill our tank when it was at 40%? Only that propane prices are record high! Abusing the Automatic Delivery agreement to sell gas when prices are at their highest is super slimy.
I just want to give a big Shout Out to the Man who delivered to us on Sunday. If you care about your family, your sanity or your wallet stay far away from this company. AmeriGas Propane has abandoned my family. I have spent several hours on for the last 6 days being lied to by this pathetic excuse for a company that my propane delivery was coming "the next day," after I paid $300 for an emergency delivery 6 days ago. Allowed my parents to run out of propane with electric monitors on the tank. They’re on auto delivery. No way to contact local delivery Phone number transfers out of state. The driveway has been plowed out. Sent a text saying driveway is not cleared. Will be switching companies. They should have never let them run out of gas.
