We've had positive experiences with Amerigas. *********** is responsive. Website is easy to use, best for placing orders. Text messages provided concerning order status. Price is typically lowest in our area.

I put in a request for a fill the beginning of the week and my tank was filled on Friday!Delivery was handled by *********************.He read my note requesting a call before delivery and actually called an hour before his arrival! He was kind, friendly and knew his job! We will use Americagas again and hope ***** remains our delivery person!

This review is for AmeriGas Maintenance Scheduling and Field Maintenance. ********* named **** initiated calls and answered calls for my questions. He was a highly professional, helpful, friendly individual. It turned out that my account was in a different service area from Seans. No problem, ********* ***** picked up the issue and responded by sending a very competent, communicative, and driven to do the right thing, person. Getting to the right people to resolve an issue is a nightmare. Obviously the customer service is all overseas and/or they only hire people who speak minimal English. BUT - I will say once we got through that maze of human interaction (which took us over 2 weeks of calling), the local customer service people here in Jacksonville FL did an excellent job of quickly resolving our issue. I was renting a home with an Amerigas propane tank. When I moved out I closed my account with ********************** and they told me there were no additional bills or charges. Two months later, my card that they still had access to even though they were supposed to close the account, was charged $159. For no reason. I am still trying to get the charge reversed. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. They are scammers who charged my card after my account was closed.

AMERIGAS ROBBED US BLIND... 1ST time home owner, no knowledge of cost of Amerigas Propane when looked at mobile home. Owner was in hurry to sell. No knowledge. Live on fixed income, SS & Disability. Amerigas charged us $4.12, $4.34 & $4.43 a gallon. Amerigas "DEPLETED SO MUCH $ of my husband's 401k" due to cost! We "switched companies" & now pay only $2.49 a gallon. My experience with AmeriGas has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences Ive ever had.I spent 3 hours on the phone just trying to establish service and schedule a propane delivery because our tank was completely empty. After finally reaching someone, I was told it would take 23 weeks before they could fill the tankeven though I explained that we had no propane, no hot water, and no way to operate our gas appliances.That level of service is simply unacceptable for a company providing an essential utility.... read more

We were on an auto fill policy and had to call several times to get propane. On one occasion, our tank ran completely out and Amerigas told us we had to pay a service charge to have our gas lines inspected. If we are on an autofill policy, why did the tank run empty? We ended up switching propane companies. On the day the new company installed their equipment, we called Amerigas and told them to come get the tank. This was on November 6th, 2025. This company is a scam. Force you to sign an agreement or should I say they said I signed an agreement. THEY then charge twice the rate and takes weeks to get products. Then will not answer a call and refuse to close the account. PLEASE DONT DO AND BUSINESS WITH THEM.
