Horrible experience with AmeriGas! I understand things happen and that’s ok but not returning calls and assuring me that this WILL be resolved and nothing happening is horrible! I’ve reached out numerous times and don’t get a response. Then you have to call the customer service number and wait for 12 hours to talk to someone who barely speaks English then their manager don’t call you back! So now I have 2 big ruts in my yard and a cracked blacktop drive way

I was with a company that AmeriGas bought out. After Amerigas inherited my account, I was charged lease fees that my original company did not charge. Fees that far exceed their competitors. When I questioned the charges and requested a copy of my service agreement and proof that I had accepted Amerigas’s terms, the customer service rep was unable to provide anything. I called to get the summer fill up and they were $3.69 a gallon this yr. I was a 24 yr customer until they started ripping customers off. Propane at any other gas company is at $2.29 a gallon for summer fill up. 24 yrs ago I chose America has because of the no rental free for there tanks. That changed a few yrs ago. Charging outrageous prices on the propane and the tank rental is why I LEFT!!

Worst possible. Filed a claim 2 months ago due to tank leaking. Wasted over 1000 dollars on gas. Each time we contact someone they say the will make it a priority to get it resoved. 4 different attempts at getting something done. Same run around each time. Nothing has been done. 1000 dollars stolen from an 88 year old women and no one cares. Shameful and probably criminal.

I paid for the propane I received, Amerigas then charged me a >$150 "early termination fee" after I moved houses - they didn't inform me about this on any conversation , but stated it was in the fine contract print. Fees not talked about are hidden fees and shady business. Will never buy propane from them again. Buyer beware - keep your contract open for 3 years even if you don't use it, their fine print will try to charge you for services not rendered.
