This review is from a 25-year customer. Each delivery request with Amerigas keeps getting worse. From the date of my online order in October 2025, it took three weeks and more than five phone calls to get my propane tank refilled. There must be an internal communication issue with the delivery of the propane, as well as a communication barrier with the representatives who answer calls from customers.
The AmeriGas employees were friendly, reliable and quick to respond to my needs. I was impressed with everyone at AmeriGas!!
I referred a new customer and we were supposed to BOTH get a 100.00 after they got hooked up. THEY LIED, I SUBMITTED ALL THE INFORMATION THEY REQUESTED AND STILL NO GIFT CARD AND NEITHER DID THE NEW CUSTOMER . WHY ADVERTISE THIS IF THEY HAVE NO INTENTION OF KEEPING THEIR WORD. When it was Heritage they always sent my gift card when i referred people....NOOOOOOO MORE WILL I REFER ANYONE !!!!!! These folks lie, be aware of this. Other than that they do provide decent service.
Tried getting a quote yesterday for new service and was told that we didn't have a large enough order. Just wanted a 120 gal. tank installed. Nowhere on the Amerigas website or Info About is any information about Minimum required. Asked to speak to the manager but was told, "unfortunately" you can't do that. Might get a call back within 48 hours. And I thought businesses were having trouble these days. Must not be the case with Heritage.
Every day since January 2 I have been told I would get delivery the next day. It is now January 13. We are out of fuel. Their customer service is horrible. The ones answering the phones have no clue what is going on, they just lie. I have been disconnected twice by their representatives and they do not bother calling you back, even though their hold time is close to an hour every time I call. I will definitely be finding another company.
