They are unreliable and if you have an emergency, that they even validate, on a regular weekday during business hours, they will charge you upwards of $500 for a 20 minute visit. There are better options, avoid this company.

Do not get gas with this company. They will deliver and tank glue everything on and never come back to fill it up then not give you details on the outrageous charges. They set up and installed my tank on the 7th of Feb with 5 gallons of propane in it. It cost us 759$ for a 120-gallon tank install above ground. All I wanted was a quote to purchase a propane tank. The lady on the phone could NOT get my details straight. Then after struggling for 15 minutes, she said she would transfer me to another department. She put me on hold, but they never came back. I must've waited for another 20 minutes before giving up. I give my two local service technicians five stars. Their integrity and professionalism are well deserving of such a rating. HOWEVER, AmeriGas corporation is another story. Predatory billing practices used by AmeriGas are outrageous. Charging $100 for an emergency phone call is beyond the pale. Especially in light of the fact that I was sold a defective, leaking propane tank. I signed up for an an account, I was told that a pre-delivery inspection was required. I was ghosed twice on my window of 8-12am. Called and there was some excuse why they did not contact me and needed to rescheduale. On my email I have it says the "Safety Assurance Check" fee "Waived as our gift to you" On my bill you charged me $190 for this.
