I had always love getting my colonoscopy done.. whatever other people say, my experience with capital digestive is always awesome except for making the appointment. They are booked so far in advance that you wait months before you can get in… but once your in … everything goes out smoothly. (No pun intended 🤣) love my anesthesiologist and Dr. Shah and Dr. Cohen were phenomenal with what they do. They make sure you feel at ease before and after procedure. You know I’m coming back whenever you tell me to. Great great service.

Best experience I’ve had with a gastro doctor. Dr. Shah listened, validated what I’d been going through, and provided a few options, ultimately recommending the treatment that would be the least extreme and most targeted at the issue. This medication has been life changing for me. She also made a referral for me to see an excellent cardiologist to confirm that the diagnosis wasn’t heart-related. Her follow-up and overall approach demonstrated genuine care.
I've never written a review for a doctor before but felt compelled to for Dr. Shah. She has really excellent bedside manner, and took me seriously from the moment I walked into her office. If you are looking for a compassionate, highly competent provider I couldn't recommend her more highly.
The staff was very professional and my wait time was just 15-20 minutes. It helps to have your paper work filled out ahead of time -which they have available on their site. I saw Dr. Shah for a consultation and she took her time to really listen, ask questions and have a real conversation about my symptoms. I will be going back for check up with Dr. Shah in 2 months. So far, I like the place. The DC office is accessible from Metro with a 5-8 minute walk from metro station.
